Satisfaction is the next crucial step in the female sexual revolution.
LET’S TALK ABOUT WOMEN’S SEXUAL HEALTH
When it comes to sex today, women are often only asked three questions:
ONE
Are you sexually active?
TWO
Do you want birth control?
THREE
Do you want to be tested for STDs?
But, what if we were asked one more?
We could change the conversation around sex for women for good.
It’s time to address women’s sexual health beyond reproduction alone.
The Truth About HSDD
Millions of women suffer in silence, ashamed to discuss their sexual pleasure (or lack thereof). Society has reinforced these ideals, making them taboo, or worse, trivial. When something troubles men in the bedroom, we address it. When something troubles women, it becomes a punchline. None of us are laughing.
Fact #1
HSDD has been medically recognized as a condition for decades2 and is the most common form of female dysfunction.3
Fact #2
Sexual response is complex for both men and women.4
Fact #3
Studies show that low sexual desire affects millions of women in the US and 1 in 10 women are distressed by it, which means they are experiencing HSDD.1
Fact #4
Lack of sexual desire can have a biological basis. Brain scan studies show markedly less activity in areas of the brain that are important in sexual response for women who suffer from HSDD.5,6
It’s time to change the statistic.
